 Another week has passed and hopefully some warmer
weather may be on the way?!?!
Fairplay to all who turned up to do the 3 laps coudre circuit TT. Unfortunately their was ice on the hill and after Stigs attempts to wheelspin and break up the ice failed it had to be cancelled and a 5 TT was put in its place.
That nutter RONEZ Arblaster did not seem to mind the conditions and finished 30 seconds quicker than his nearest rivals! It was a good way to get rid of his long winter suffering arbieitus virus that he has been a part time sufferer of this year! In second place was the animal TOUZ BOUZ who came over the line with more saliva round his chin than a long sufferer of rabeys! He was very closely followed by ROCKET Bailey (my very own personal wing man) who is somewhat of a rejuvenated cyclist over the winter months and actually seems to enjoy hills! In 4th place was the catalogue assos model LAMBY Bleasdale who was moaning about 5 TT`s but am sure he was happy with his time! In 5th place was a very special child who even after a week in Lanza is still whiter than a t shirt out of a daz advert! Of course we are talking about TIMMY, GINGE, CASPER Osborn!
In 6th place was someone who doesn`t actually need to go to Lanza for a tan and was someone who rides more dirt than a 60`s pornstar! It was mtb`er No1, KENYAN Smart! (not a bad coach either!)
Next week is time for the reservoir cicuit road race which has a 7 am start. Slightly new thing this year is all riders will be put in divisions so see the web to find out how many laps you will be doing.
TUBS Hortyn rode his first pro race this weekend and though finished 10 mins behind the leaders enjoyed the race with solo attacks in the first 50k and now can`t wait for the next race! Good luck chubbs!
On a more serious note, we hope local rider Jonny Dorey (also known as Pizza Boy) is found safe and well after being missing for almost a week in the states where he is at college.Thoughts go out to friends and family.
