5 Mile Time Trial - 7th March 2010

Ice on Le Coudre prevented the Guernsey Velo club from running its planned 3 lap hilly time trial; however, a quick change of course enabled them to run a 5mile time trial on the west coast. Temperatures just above freezing and a 25 mile an hour wind from the east meant the times were never going to be super fast.

LCF Development Squad rider Dan Arblaster showed why he is one of the islands brightest sporting talents taking the win in a time of 11.28 thirty seconds ahead of second placed Philip Touzeau with Aaron Bailey third in 12.00. Tony Bleasdale took forth in 11.08 with LCF rider Matt Osborn in fifth place. Rob Smart was sixth followed by LCF rider Alex Falla the first under 16 (12.23), Paul Walbridge, LCF rider Alex Wilson (12.34) who was also the first junior with veteran Tim Holmes (13.38) completing the top ten. Allan Renyard (14.46) finished as the first Grand Veteran with Will Falla (15.44) the first Under 14 rider.
